This is how the plant looked when I first got it in March 2008.

Here’s how it looks now. Flowers are gone (though they did last a long time!), and there is a lot of new growth and possible keikis.

Another angle. That piece sticking up is actually a root, not an old flower stalk! At one point the root was holding onto a leaf, but I made it let go.

Here you can see all the crazy roots sticking out from the middle of the plant!

Here’s the roots close-up. There is so much going on; I’m afraid to do anything! I don’t know if I should split it up or where I should split it or if I should just leave it alone.

Here’s another angle where you can see how the plant seems to keep growing on top of itself.

And yet another angle. Here you can see a small bit of new growth coming toward you. It’s about an inch or so long now.
